Amir Ismail Global Immigration News is published by Amir Ismail & Associates. This page explains how we report, how we use technology, and how we fix mistakes.
What we publish
We report on official announcements, data releases and rule changes that affect people who want to move, live, study, work or invest abroad. We do not give advice on anyone’s individual case. Our related service pages on amirismail.com are where advice and guides live.
How we report
- Every figure, date and rule comes from an official source that we open and read: a government news release, an official data page, a published regulation or a gazette. We link the source in the story.
- We say what stage a change is at: announced, in force, or only proposed. A consultation or a draft regulation is not a decision.
- We do not copy other outlets. Where we cannot confirm a detail at its source, we leave it out or say it is unconfirmed.
- Opinion is labelled Analysis and kept short.
How we check our work
Our editorial team prepares and checks every story against the official source before it is published.
Corrections and updates
- If we get something wrong, we correct it and add a dated correction note to the story.
- Stories show the date they were published and the date they were last updated.
- Trackers for developing stories carry a dated log of each change.
- To report an error, use our contact page.
